Auto Detailing Marketing
Auto Detailing Marketing
Most car detailers I know are stuck using “old school marketing.” This includes: Yellow Pages, direct mail, flyers, and newspaper advertising. All these methods are either dying or dead. Think about your customers. What are their incomes? What is their level of education? What are their media habits? The people who pay for car detailing are affluent and avid users of technology. If you want to reach them, shouldn’t your marketing use the latest technologies too?
Website building, and driving traffic to your site is not a do-it-yourself project.
I can’t count the number of times I’ve seen detailers spend 10s of hours building their own websites with free online software and get zero results from their work. You actually do more harm than good when you make your own site because:
- A self-made site reflects poorly on your business’ image. The Internet has been around for 15 years now, and customers can spot a self-made website. It sends a message that your business is small, unprofessional, and its owner may not take his business seriously.
- 95% of self-made websites never get found. If you don’t choose the right [title], [description], and [h1] tags, and don’t build inbound links, you’ll never rank on the search engines, and you’ve effectively built a useless marketing tool.
Make an investment in MODERNIZING your car detailing business.
Internet marketing is revolutionizing small business. Businesses are thriving or failing based on their ability to attract new business from their websites. Car detailers are behind the curve on this new trend. There’s a lot of business to be had online and only a few detailers are claiming it. Now is definitely the time to invest in a cutting edge website that ranks on Google’s first page.
